Step 3: You will receive a one time password (OTP) enterthat OTP which you have received on your mobile number and complete the registration process.

Step 4: Log in to the portal by using your registered mobile number and password.

Step 5: Fill in the complete CLAT application form by entering all your basic details and information which is asked in the form.

Step 6: Upload the required documents and signature in the required format which is specified in the notification. The size of the document should not be more than 1.5 MB.

The size of the photo and signature should not be more than 500 KB and 100 KB respectively.

Step 7: Now you are at the final stage of the CLAT Application process. Make payment which is required for the CLAT exam and complete the registration process.

Step 8: Take a printout of the Application form for future reference. You have successfully filled the CLAT Application form.

Guidelines to upload photographs in the CLAT application form

It is very necessary that candidates should upload the photographs as per the given specifications which are as follows

The candidate in the photograph should be front faced.
The red-eye on the photograph should be avoided.
The caps and sunglasses or hats are not accepted in the passport size photo.
The passport photo should be a coloured image, the black and white photo of the candidate is not accepted.
The religious headwear is allowed in the photograph but care should be taken that it should not hide the face of the candidate. The face of the candidate should be clearly visible.
The photograph should be clear with a white background. The candidate should upload their latest photograph.

Guidelines to upload the documents and signature in the CLAT application form

The guidelines for uploading signature in the CLAT application form are as follows

The candidate should upload the signature on the white paper with black pen.
The documents of the candidate must follow the format and the size prescribed in the notification.
The document should be scanned properly so that it should be clearly visible.
The signature of the candidate should not be in the capital letters or block letters.
The resolution or size of the scanned images for photographs can be modified with the help of MS Paint and Adobe Photoshop.

The application fee of the CLAT exam as per the previous year notification the student belonging to the OBC, general and PWD category has to pay Rs 4000 and SC, ST and BPL candidates have to pay Rs 3500.
